Pettiskirt

Olivia is invited to a Rock Star themed birthday party tomorrow. The kids are suppose to dress up in rack star garb. I've been thinking about making a pettiskirt after a friend mentioned seeing them on vacation. I thought this was a good time to dust off my sewing machine and working on a new project. The pettiskirt turned out nice. There are some things I know now that will make the process a lot quicker next time, like the fact that a ruffler foot exists and will make gathering a breeze or that the chiffon they sale in town frays. I plan on ordering some nylon chiffon online and tweaking the pattern a bit the next time.
